Network IR bridge remote app for Android and iPhone
Control configured infrared devices from Android or iPhone through a compatible Global Caché bridge on the local network.
What Beam can offer
- Validated sendir commands
- Connector and carrier-frequency bounds
- Busy/retry and completion acknowledgement
Setup
- 1Connect the Global Caché bridge to the same local network as the phone.
- 2Add and verify the bridge endpoint in Beam.
- 3Configure an exact expanded numeric sendir command and confirm the appliance response.
Compatibility boundary
Requires separately purchased compatible bridge hardware and correctly configured IR commands. The bridge route does not turn an iPhone into an infrared emitter.
If setup does not complete
Open Connection Doctor for the selected route. Beam checks the local-network path, permission or hardware gate, pairing state, and saved endpoint, then gives a specific next step. A discovered name or open port is never treated as proof that commands work.
