Infrared TV and appliance remote app for Android
Use Beam's offline infrared catalogue for TVs, climate systems, fans, audio equipment, projectors, lights, disc players, streaming devices, and other supported appliances.
What Beam can offer
- 480 offline device profiles
- 101,096 validated commands
- TV, climate, fan, audio, projector, light, disc-player, streaming-device, and general-appliance categories
Setup
- 1Beam first verifies both Android's consumer-IR feature and a real emitter.
- 2Search for an exact brand or model profile.
- 3Send a safe candidate command and confirm that the physical device responded before Beam saves the remote.
Compatibility boundary
Profile validation proves encoding and transmission safety, not physical response from every model. Infrared controls stay hidden when no emitter or configured network IR bridge exists; iPhone has no built-in IR path in Beam.
If setup does not complete
Open Connection Doctor for the selected route. Beam checks the local-network path, permission or hardware gate, pairing state, and saved endpoint, then gives a specific next step. A discovered name or open port is never treated as proof that commands work.
