Setup
- 1Connect the phone and Vizio television to the same network.
- 2Choose the verified SmartCast device in Beam.
- 3Enter the PIN displayed by the television when pairing is requested.
Compatibility boundary
Requires a compatible SmartCast API and a completed token/PIN flow. Older non-SmartCast Vizio models may require infrared instead.
If setup does not complete
Open Connection Doctor for the selected route. Beam checks the local-network path, permission or hardware gate, pairing state, and saved endpoint, then gives a specific next step. A discovered name or open port is never treated as proof that commands work.
