Setup
- 1Connect the phone and TV device to the same local network.
- 2Choose the Android TV or Google TV target in Beam.
- 3Enter the pairing code shown on the television.
Compatibility boundary
The operating system and enabled Remote Service matter more than the logo on the bezel. Vendor-customized firmware may disable or replace the standard pairing service.
If setup does not complete
Open Connection Doctor for the selected route. Beam checks the local-network path, permission or hardware gate, pairing state, and saved endpoint, then gives a specific next step. A discovered name or open port is never treated as proof that commands work.
